Beer: $5 Sake Sake Type: Experimental / Alternative Grain OG: 1.058 FG: 1.014 ABV: 5.78% Grain: 7 lbs 2 Row 7 lbs Rice Flakes 4 oz Brown Malt 5 oz Biscuit Malt 2 Lbs Rice Hulls Hops 1 oz Willamette 40 minuetes 5AAU 1 oz Arora (Super Styrian) 15 minutes 11.3AAU 2 Tsp Irish Moss 15 minutes 1 oz Cascade 5 minutes 5 AAU Yeast Dry Danstar Kolsch Yeast K97 Mash at 151 degrees for 60 minutes, 60 minute boil. Notes: Experimental recipe half regular grain but with an irresponsible amount of rice. Mixed flavor of light kolsch, but with sake rice vinous flavor. little hop bite. |
