Fitchburg Order of Ale Makers
The Fitchburg Order of Ale Makers (“F.O.A.M.”) is an American Homebrewers Association registered homebrew club located in North Central Worcester County, Massachusetts. F.O.A.M. meets on the third Friday of each month at members’ homes. We conduct club business, provide beer education, conduct many brewing related projects and of course sample many varieties of beer, cider, wine and meads. In addition to the monthly meetings, F.O.A.M. hosts semi-annual parties each year (the F.O.A.M. Summer Party and the F.O.A.M. Holiday Party). F.O.A.M. members also enjoy the club's annual pub crawl, as well as FOAMstock, an amazing weekend in York, Maine. F.O.A.M. also hosts and participates in a variety of homebrewing competitions/events as well as conducting a barrel aging program (F.A.B.B.).
"From man’s sweat and God’s love, beer came into the world."
– Saint Arnold of Metz, The patron Saint of Brewers
Here at F.O.A.M. we handcraft great beers in the fine homebrew tradition. This site was created with the intent to share our knowledge and resources to all with home brewing interest. Since home brewing is a natural passion for any beer connoisseur you will find information of all various subjects relating to beer on our site. What we do best though, is sample beer. All kinds of beer. We sample homebrews, local micro brews, and many commercial beers. Along the way we have complied reviews and other information relating to the many beers that we have sampled. We hope that our resources are both informative and interesting. And so it was decreed that every third Friday of the month will be F.O.A.M. night.
